Metsá-Kabi Ayahuasca Retreat | 5 Ceremonies with Shipibo Healers | Iquitos, Peru
With Maestra Angela Lopez, Brian Landever, Mariella Noriega and Annie Ladino
September 25 - October 6, 2026
Metsá-Kabi offers a complete Shipibo healing treatment — not a series of identical ceremonies, but a traditional eleven-day arc of energetic diagnosis, cleansing, protection, and closing, guided by two of the most experienced healers in the Ucayali region: Maestra Ángela López and Urias García Nunta.
Each of the five ayahuasca ceremonies carries its own intention within the traditional Shipibo framework:
Ceremony I — Diagnosis: The healers read your energy and open the channel for the work ahead.
Ceremony II — Diagnosis & Cleansing: The dieta formally opens; active cleansing work begins.
Ceremony III — Cleansing: The heart of the retreat. Heavy energies, grief, and entrenched patterns move through Maestra Ángela’s icaros.
Ceremony IV — Protection: The healers lay in energetic protection, fortifying what has been cleared.
Ceremony V — Arkana: The closing ceremony seals the healing and closes the dieta.
Between ceremonies, your days are held with plant baths, yoga, a cacao and breathwork ceremony, sound bath journeys, an Agua Florida and Mapacho workshop, a Shipibo art class with Maestra Ángela, and a guided medicinal plant walk — all on land that is home to two rare Noya Rao trees, considered one of the most sacred master plants in the Shipibo tradition.
This retreat is capped at 10 participants, and guided throughout by trauma-informed facilitation from Brian Landever, Mariella Noriega, and Annie Ladino — so the pace respects each person’s boundaries and readiness from arrival to integration.
Price: $2,950 USD, all-inclusive (accommodation, meals, five ceremonies, plant baths, and integration support). A non-refundable $800 deposit secures your place.
2026 Dates: September 25 – October 6
Location: Metsá-Kabi, KM 72, Iquitos, Peru.
